If you enter into a contract with a business, often referred to as B2C contracts, certain provisions will be automatically implied into any contract by virtue of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The legislation places a legal requirement on suppliers of goods, services and digital content to adhere to required standards set out by the legislation including:
- Goods must be of satisfactory quality.
- Goods must be fit for a particulars purpose if the consumer makes that purpose known.
- Service must be performed with reasonable care and skill.
- If no time is stated, service must be performed within a reasonable time.
