Adult Dependent Relative Application

We appreciate the importance of having your loved ones with you, especially if they are dependent on you for support. If your parent, grandparent, or other extended family member requires long-term care to do the basic day to day tasks, they may be eligible to apply for an Adult Dependent Relative Visa.

If you have lived in the UK with limited leave to remain you may be eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (“the ILR”), provided you satisfy the legal criteria. The Indefinite Leave/Settlement is an entitlement to live and work permanently in the UK without restrictions. 

Before you can make an application for the ILR there are various conditions that you must meet to ensure that your application is successful. Our immigration team can help you review your situation and advise you on whether you meet the requisite criterion before submitting your application to ensure the best chance of success. 

If you have the limited leave to remain and you now believe you are entitled to apply for ILR we can assess your current personal circumstances to advise you on the correct application and procedure. 

If you entered into the United Kingdom on a temporary Spouse/Partner Visa and your marriage/civil partnership has subsequently ended as a result of domestic violence, then our expert team can assist you in making an application for indefinite leave to remain or settlement with a Home Office application under the domestic violence concessions.
